Not the other way around. We started Iron Bison AI because we needed better tools for our own business, and figured we weren't the only ones.
It started with a spreadsheet that got out of hand
We're two business partners who run a trades and wholesale business. Like a lot of companies, we tracked bids and follow-ups in a big shared spreadsheet. Colors meant stages. Hyperlinks pointed to plans. Everyone had their own system for remembering who to call back.
It worked, until it didn't. Rows got overwritten. Follow-ups slipped. Nobody could see the whole picture without scrolling for five minutes.
We looked at the big CRMs. They were powerful, but they wanted us to change how we work to fit their screens, and charged for a hundred features we'd never use. So we built our own, shaped around exactly how our team bids, follows up and wins work.
It changed how we run the business. And the more we talked to other owners, the more we heard the same story. So we started Iron Bison AI to build the same kind of software for other businesses.
