Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to a minimum. Here's exactly what we use and why.
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, like your browser's local and session storage, work in much the same way. This policy explains how Iron Bison AI uses them on our website and in our software. For more on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- Our page counts are cookie-free.
- We only set cookies that are essential, mainly to keep you signed in.
- Analytics cookies are optional and only load if you click "Allow analytics."
- We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. Essential cookies and storage
These are needed for the Services to work, so they're always on.
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| tb_app | Keeps you signed in to your CRM account. Secure, httpOnly cookie that page scripts can't read. | Until you sign out or your session expires |
| tb_admin | Keeps Iron Bison AI staff signed in to our admin area. | Until sign-out or expiry |
| tb_utm (session storage) | Remembers the page you landed on and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which marketing helps when you submit a form. | Until you close the tab |
| tb_cookie_consent (local storage) | Remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we don't ask again on every page. | Until you clear your browser's site data |
2. Cookie-free page counts
To understand which pages are popular, we count page views on our own servers. We record the page, the referring website and a visitor identifier made from a one-way hash that changes every day. No cookie is stored, and the identifier can't be used to recognize you on a different day or on other websites.
3. Optional analytics cookies
If you click "Allow analytics" in our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*, lasting up to two years) to measure how visitors use the site. We turn on IP anonymization. If you choose "Essential only," or don't make a choice, Google Analytics is never loaded.
Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
4. Third-party services
When you pay by card, your card details are sent directly to QuickBooks Payments (Intuit) to be tokenized. If you join a meeting through a Google Meet link, Google's own cookies and policies apply on Google's site. Course videos, where provided, may be embedded from a video host that sets its own cookies when you play them.
5. Your choices
- Change your analytics choice: clear this site's data in your browser settings, then reload the page. The cookie banner will ask you again.
- Block cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in to your account.
- Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track: since we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there's nothing extra to switch off. Analytics stays off unless you opt in.
6. Changes
If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and the date above.
